Acting Chief Executive Officer
Kris is a senior executive with over 20 years’ experience driving growth, transformation, and commercial outcomes across the private, public, and community sectors in Queensland, New South Wales, and the Northern Territory. As a General Manager and CEO, Kris has successfully scaled skills, training, and employment services organisations at state and national levels, delivering sustainable growth and improved performance.
As an independent consultant, Kris partnered with federal, state, and local governments to design and deliver skills and labour market policies and programs aligned to workforce demand and economic priorities. This included leading research and advisory projects that informed regional economic development and investment strategies. Kris also supported organisations across skills, training, employment, health, and related sectors to develop and execute commercially sound growth and transformation initiatives.
Kris has also held Board Chair and Director roles with industry and business peak bodies, contributing strong governance and strategic leadership while ensuring long-term viability and sustainability.
Most recently, as Director of Program Delivery and Commercial at Manufacturing Skills Queensland (MSQ), Kris leads strategic workforce and skills investment for Queensland’s manufacturing industry, delivering MSQ’s Annual Training Plan through the development of high-impact programs and products that lift productivity, capability, and industry competitiveness.

Our work supports the Queensland Government’s $70 million investment in manufacturing skills and training. The MSQ board guides the organisation’s strategy and ensures investment in manufacturing skills and training through the Annual Training Plan meet the needs of industry.
