We are looking to connect with employers and stakeholders in manufacturing who are currently working in or looking to enter the renewables sector to build our understanding of the current renewable energy landscape, how the shift to renewable energy is impacting manufacturing and what skills manufacturing will require from their workforce.
Queensland’s renewables manufacturing expansion presents significant opportunities in terms of economic growth, community engagement, and technological innovation.
In partnership with a research agency, Manufacturing Skills Queensland will consult with employers and stakeholders to understand our Queensland manufacturers participation in the renewables expansion, and key drivers to date, current and future pipeline, identification of current and existing training and skills, identify opportunities for skills transition, and more.
