About the group

The significance of Queensland’s manufacturing industry in today’s global economy cannot be overstated. The industry is dynamic—not only contributing to the productivity of the country but providing immense value to local communities. As the industry adapts and grows, we need to ensure our investment in training and skills keeps pace, supporting manufacturers to innovate, stay competitive and build domestic capability.

The Strategic Advisory Group is a ‘by invitation-only’ thought leadership community that connects respected manufacturers with a presence in Queensland, to discover first-mover workforce ideas, share professional insights, pool expertise, and build relationships that make an enduring impact. The Strategic Advisory Group informs MSQ’s major workforce investment and Annual Training Plan.
