Manufacturing Skills Queensland (MSQ) has welcomed the appointment of two new board directors and announced the appointment of a new Chair – Paul Cooper.
Mr Cooper has more than 25 years’ experience in board positions in government, manufacturing, education, professional associations, health, and accounting in Australia and internationally.
Mr Cooper is currently Chair at Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre Ltd and has held positions as Chair of Audit and Risk Committees, Deputy Chair of the Export Council of Australia Ltd, and is the current Owner and Executive Chair of Rinstrum, an industrial electronics manufacturing company.
Along with Mr Cooper, two new Directors will join MSQ’s Board—Stacey Schinnerl of Australian Workers’ Union and Sheree Taylor of BlueScope Steel.
The new appointments provide expertise and insights for the organisation which has been established to build a future-proofed and skilled workforce for manufacturing in Queensland.
