The 2025 Women in Manufacturing Apprentice Awards celebrate Queensland’s top female apprentices who show exceptional leadership in the manufacturing industry.
The awards are a crucial component of the broader Queensland Government Women in Manufacturing Strategy, which is designed to encourage more women to consider and pursue careers in manufacturing. By providing leadership programs and other initiatives, the strategy aims to inspire women to break into the industry and rise to leadership positions.
Manufacturing Skills Queensland (MSQ) is a proud sponsor of the WIM Apprentice Awards, specifically sponsoring the Highly Commended Apprentice Award for 2025.
The winner of the Leading Apprentice Award will take home $10,000, while the runner-up will receive $5,000. This prize money is intended to support the recipients in their professional journeys, covering essential expenses such as tools, uniforms, educational opportunities, or career development courses.
